The future is now!

Have you already asked the aged-old question, who am I? If you have, then you now can claimed to be a member of the large majority of discontented group of the human race. No, that's probably not true; you have actually now become a member of the human race. No other creation has the capacity to find such perplexities in themselves, and no matter how much they desire to know who they really are, they end up having more questions than answers.

WHO AM I? is just the beginning of more questions; what is my life's purpose, why am I in this world? Where am I going?

I asked this question of myself a long time ago. The funny thing about this question is you could ask it at many different points of your life; as your life progresses and you move into different stages, what you defined yourself to be at an earlier point may not seem appropriate or true to who you are now. That's fine. Because you are never the same. Circumstances can define a person. That's not to say, you are a different person. You have taken in a different role. You have taken in different responsibilities. The expectations are different. Your needs are different. Therefore, it is not unwise to constantly be sensitive to who you are at every point of your life by asking "Who am I?"

Once you have successfully answered that question, or think you have a rough idea of who you are, that's the first lesson for the rest of your life at that point. Be that person. Embrace that person. Be proud of that person. Love that person.

At whatever stage you are in your life now, this is the first lesson for the rest of your life, because the future, your future, who you will become begins now!
