Silent is smart.

There's no right or wrong answer to any kind of question really. There are only different presumptions, not answers, as any response to any kind of question can only be a presumption based on one's understanding of the question. And each one person does not exactly have the same interpretation of what the question is.

Thus, if I asked; what is the meaning of life?

Some answers may well be; God gives meaning to life. The meaning is found in the people around us, in the smiles of little children. or, life means to give back.  or,  the meaning of life is in the heart beat of each one of us. Yet, another may reply, I found meaning in my job, it gives me the meaning that I was looking for while the pessimist will say, there's no meaning to life, its meaningless. This life is.....etc.

Was there any right answer? Was there any wrong answer?

The answer is only right when you have a set presumption on what the right answers would be. And for the wrong answer. But does it matter? To have a right or a wrong answer? Why does it matter to have any answer to a question?

Life should not be defined by what others think. Because when you give an answer, it should not be reflected upon who you are. It should not influence others to make a definition.

It would probably be best to avoid making judgment. Often a time, a response to an answer can put one precariously at the risk of making judgement. How would you then respond if the answer to the question asked is Life means fulfilling the Will of God. Would we immediately assume that the person is religious? How does one be certain that as a result of the answer, one is assumed to be God abiding? So the person is a good person because she or he is God abiding.

What if the response was, Meaning can only be realized when I achieve this success (vague) in my life. Does one then assume that this person is ungodly because she or he doesn't prioritize God? Can it be said that because success, material rather than godly aspiration, gives meaning to the person therefore she or he is ungodly?

It's tricky. It's presumptuous. At best, it's silly.

Probably, since there's no right or wrong answer to any kind of question, sometimes its smart not to engage in any kind of meaningless exchange. Think about this.
